Concrete Highway Shoulder Repair

Concrete highway shoulders can be repaired simply using Roklin's Concrete Welder and Roklin's polymer dispensing machine. Ensure that the concrete highway repair area is clean and dry before you begin. A concrete shoulder repair requires more preparation because of all the debris that ends up on the freeway. If the cracks or damage is deep, you may want to use ¾ or larger rock to fill in the cracks or even a combination of aggregates sizes.

To repair concrete highway shoulders, use Roklin's Concrete Welder, using Roklin's polymer dispensing machine. Ensure that the concrete highway repair area is clean and dry before you begin. If the cracks or damage is deep, you may want to use ¾ or larger rock to fill in the cracks or even a combination of aggregates sizes.

To begin, coat the entire repair area with a thin layer of Concrete Welder. Next, insert clean dry rock. Once rock is placed, use the polymer dispensing machine to fill in the concrete highway shoulder repair. As you flood it, have someone toss treated sand over the surface. That will push the polymer into the voids to make a stronger repair.

When the material has filled the repair to within an inch from the top, toss a layer of #3 topping sand evenly over the top to create a smooth even surface. Your concrete highway shoulder repair will be complete in about an hour.
