Ben - I am attempting to determine the most cost effective way to repair mutiple pot holes in an asphalt parking lot in Texas. Cost is the most important factor - as opposed to time until use is restored.I would like to be able to purchase FloMix and to the repair myself. However, given the cost of one 5 gallon bucket of FloMix, I wonder if I would actually save any money versus hiring an ashpalt contractor to make the repair. One example is a pot hole that is 3 feet wide x 5 feet long with an average depth of 1 inch. I know I can extend the FloMix coverage by adding some aggregate to the deeper areas, but how much will that help?Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!
The first thing you would need to do is get a contractor to give you an estimate of what it would cost to repair your parking lot. you could then purchase two kits of flomix to see how big of an area they would repair. you could then estimate which cost would be the best for you. The contractor or repairing it yourself with flomix.
