Q: Had a new asphalt drive put in last summer, when should I reseal it??? I live in northern UT. I apppreciate any help or advice you you can give. Thanks A: Usually you want to seal it every 2-3 years. If you find it is fading quickly and you can see the aggregate in the asphalt, it is time to reseal. |

Q: Ben, I have a concrete pool deck that has numerous cracks most wider than 1/4 A: You can use your own sand but we have a coated sand that we know is clean and dry and works well. We can also provide some different sizes but if you are confident that your sand is dry and clean you can do that. |

Q: Ben, After I apply the Flomix product to my asphalt driveway I am going to want to apply a driveway sealer to make my driveway the same color. Do blacktop sealers bond well to the Flomix surface? Do any particular blacktop sealers work better with Flomix than others? Thanks, Mark D A: Blacktop sealers bond well to flomix surfaces. All Emulsion or Asphalt sealers work well with flomix surfaces. |

Q: Hi: I have tree roots that have pushed up parts of my concrete driveway creating uneven and jagged edges. (parts have moved up vertically a couple of inches from the rest of the driveway). What do I use to create a more even surface even if not completely flat? A: I would recommend that you cut the roots at the driveway edge where they go under the driveway. I would then use our flexset product to fill the un even areas tapering from the 2" inch rise down to 1/8 inches. |

Q: Sir:In repair of cracks and pot holes with FlexSet, may we use dry, clean calcium carbonate sand rather than silicate sand? Thanks. Jim A: We have not had any experience using calcium carbonate sand with our flexset product. We use silicate sand with our flexset product because the sand needs to be clean and dry!! |
