Q: hi, we have a asphalt tennis court and there are bird baths on the same. We would like to know how we can use Flomix to solve this problem A: FloMix would work well in fixing your bird bath problems. FloMix is self-leveling. All you would have to do is place some FloMix in each bird bath one at a time and use a long 2 by 4 for leveling and removing the excess material. I would use a trowel to smooth and taper the edges, then put on topping sand. |

Q: Can FLOMIX be used as a finished surface/leveling course on an asphalt sidewalk? We have a 3ftx7ft area of sidewalk that needs to have the surface raised by 0.5 A: Yes, FloMix can be used as a finish surface/levelling course on an asphalt sidewalk. The cost would be about eght hundred dollars. You would need about eight kits and three bags of rock and you would have to place a form around the area to hold the product in place until it sets. You would also need to place black topping sand on the surface. |

Q: My concrete entrance ramp at my car wash has developed several cracks and holes. My deepest crack or hole is about 12 A: I would recomend that you use our FlexSet product for the larger areas and Concrete Welder for the smaller areas. However, you would have to make sure that the areas you were going to use the product are free of water until it cures. You can put traffic on the repair an hour after placing it. |

Q: Hi Ben,I have a small asphalt driveway next to the house that was laid down by the previous owner incorrectly, that it grades negatively toward the house. The basement is dry so far but I know this is still a problem. I've had paving companies look at the property and they've told me that I can fix it by either repaving the entire driveway, or just pave a little wedge bump-up next to the house to create a drainage channel. I'd like to know if I can use this product to do the job myself? Is it doing to be lasting and durable as the hot asphalt? Thanks. A: You can use asphalt to create a wedge bump-up next to your house. After placing the wedge bump cover it with FloMix. This will waterproof the area. Our FloMix product is very durable and you can do the work yourself. |
